Acne Treatments
At Isis Skin & Body, we offer state-of-the-art treatment of acne and acne scarring for all skin tones.
Our clients have enjoyed dramatic results in acne control as a result of their treatment regimen at Isis. At your free consultation, you will be evaluated and the optimum treatment regimen will be outlined for you. We will design a home care regimen for you consisting of products specifically tailored to your needs. Our products are uniquely chosen for their effectiveness in treating the different types of acne we see. The results are dramatic and long-lasting, without the "rebound" (worsening of acne when the products are stopped) seen with many products available on the market. We will also recommend a customized treatment regimen at Isis which may include our Facials and/or Chemical Peels. If needed, you may also be evaluated by our Medical Director for possible prescription treatment of your acne.
Treatment of Acne Scarring
We are proud to offer the most effective treatments available for acne scarring for people of all skin tones. Effective treatments currently available elsewhere for acne scarring are "ablative", disrupting the top layer of skin. These treatments involve significant "downtime" and are not suitable for people of color. At Isis, we specialize in the safe and effective treamtent of acne scarring for people of all skin tones. At your free consultation, the optimum treatment regimen will outlined for you. This regimen may include treatment of active acne (see above), Laser Genesis and/or Chemical Peels. Soon after you begin your treatments at Isis, you will enjoy a smoother, more even complexion, no matter what your skin tone.

Epidermal Leveling
Epidermal Leveling
Epidermal Leveling is a recent innovation in safe and effective exfoliation, suitable for men and women of all skin tones. Also known as dermaplaning, this technique utilizes a specially designed surgical instrument to carefully remove the topmost layers of skin, resulting in a beautiful refinished look. Epidermal leveling gives the skin a smoother appearance by removing dead skin cells in addition to the fine vellous facial hair ("peach fuzz") that can trap excess dirt and oil and leave the complexion looking dull. It also stimulates and rejuvenates skin tissue, making it an effective way to reduce acne scarring, uneven pigmentation, and fine line wrinkles. Most people notice marked improvements in the texture and appearance of their skin immediately after their first treatment, making it an excellent procedure to have prior to a special event.
